# Formatting of Sequence fields in YAML frontmatter

The entries in sequence fields are getting renamed by the App when using the “YAML Frontmatter” format with “.md” file extensions. A “1.1.1” in a sequence type field leads to the following entry:

Seq: ‘[[1.1.1]]’

in the markdown field. This seems like a new bug and may have arisen when trying to address the wikilinks and backlinks formatting in the frontmatter.
