# Notenik 16.5.8 Available for Beta Testing on March 25th, 2025

This beta should improve the app’s handling of periods in note filenames. I’m trying to eliminate them after abbreviations, and replace them with dashes when they’re being used as separators (as in a Seq field).

This beta version is no longer available. Look for a [later beta release](https://discourse.notenik.app/c/beta-versions/17) or the most recent [Mac App Store release](https://discourse.notenik.app/c/announcements/6).
