# Notenik 18.6.0 Released on March 8th, 2026

This new release includes the following improvements:

- Added an optional menu bar extra (for the right side of the menu bar);  
+fixed limited Markdown parsing of the Title field to leave underscores within words undisturbed.

The thing I like most about working with Notenik is that I can make it be something different everytime.

Apple’s Notes is my standby for iOS but sometimes I forget and search for Notenik on my phone or iPad.
