This new beta attempts to address the issue of quoted string values in [YAML frontmatter](https://discourse.notenik.app/t/quoted-strings-in-yaml-frontmatter-fields/886). Looking forward to feedback on this.

This beta version is no longer available. Look for a [later beta release](https://discourse.notenik.app/c/beta-versions/17) or the most recent [Mac App Store release](https://discourse.notenik.app/c/announcements/6).

Thanks for sharing this beta update. It is good to see quoted string values in YAML frontmatter being worked on. I will try this version and see how it behaves with my notes. Have you also checked how it handles special characters and multiline values?

I would say that the YAML parser in Notenik is not perfect, but is generally good enough. I work on issues as I’m notified of them. Let me know if you find some practical issues with your notes. Thanks!
