I wonder if you would consider an option to have the backlinks/wikilinks section pre-expanded in Display view. This would allow for much faster interaction when jumping between linked notes.

To enable this feature, you will need to modify your Collection Template file to include a new field configuration setting of reveal, as in the following example lines:
Backlinks: <backlinks: reveal>
Wiki Links: <wikilinks: reveal>
