It looks like sorting on Date Added (⌘8) displays the date and time as a string of numerals (202312061923, for example) whereas the other date sorts show the date formatted as ccyy-mm-dd plus.
I’d like to see a similarly formatted Date Added as well as an option for Date only (without the time).

What would be the point of having a Date Added sort that omitted the time? I feel like I’m missing something here.
It would sort by time (added or modified) but the display would show just the date for a simpler view than the date and time list:
In the above case, I’d like to know what date an article was published but not what time I added it to the collection (assuming I added it on the date published).
You can always just drag the column divider so that it only shows the date.
