Favorite File Extension for Notes

Hey, I’m curious what file extension you guys prefer for your Notenik notes. I tend to use .mdtext, but I imagine most of you use something else. I want to make sure that the Starter Packs are using whatever file extension you guys have found to be most useful.

I just use .txt because that’s how many of them were created before Notenik.
