I’ve recently started using Notenik and have been exploring its features for managing notes, projects, and personal knowledge. The flexibility of Markdown, collections, and linking notes has been really interesting.
I’m curious to know how experienced users organize their Notenik setup. Do you use folders, tags, templates, daily notes, or a Zettelkasten-style workflow? Are there any best practices you’ve found that make it easier to find information and stay organized?
I’d also love to hear about:

I’m always looking for ways to improve my note-taking system, so I’d really appreciate hearing how the community uses Notenik in everyday work or study.
What I appreciate about Notenik is that you are expected to keep files in multiple spaces under various contexts, and if you choose to have them cooperate you can.
So the answer to “Do you use folders, tags, templates, daily notes, or a Zettelkasten-style workflow?” for me, is “Yes.”
What are you taking notes for or about?
The best way to keep track of and surface vital information in Notenik, in my opinion, is with the Mark field or by generating reports
Once you grasp the concept behind how Fields are used and the versatility that they offer depending on which ones you choose according to your interests you can unlock a lot of the value behind Notenik and craft your own system around the fields that any given collection has
Notenik doesn’t have a traditional “plugin” ecosystem
To be honest I don’t think one is necessary
Everything is stored as structured plain text data that can be further manipulated however you want
So if there’s something that you cannot do within Notenik itself, it’s more than likely that there’s ways to get your data out so you can do whatever you want with it somewhere else
The best advice I can think of for large collections would be to backup often
Either within Notenik itself (File → Backup to Zip...) or by some automated method
