MarkEdit is a free and open-source Markdown editor, for macOS. It’s just like TextEdit on Mac but dedicated to Markdown.

Its simple and powerful, and it’s markdown focus makes it a really nice partner for Notenik.

It implements MacOS features such as the Revert command, which provides a Time-Machine interface to choose an earlier version of the document. That’s not always needed but it’s a reassuring feature.

I like it. Seems to have reasonable level of customization. Seems to handle the Notenik fields and field labels without any problem, and also includes some nice Markdown formatting.
