I’m looking at the Tags view of my recipe collection and I’m wondering why untagged notes appear in this view.
They are all arranged by “Seq + Title” and the numerals sort before the tags, which cannot start with numerals.
There are so many that they push the tags out of view. On one hand, this suggests I should do a bit more organising. On the other, I feel as though my tag space is polluted by untagged items.
I guess it’s by design, though I agree with you that only the notes with tags would be shown
Addressing concerns from @zgr and @Malcolm – with the latest beta, untagged Notes are now collected under a pseudo-tag named “- untagged”. This keeps them visible – for those (like me) who want to see Notes that might need tags – but keeps them from overwhelming and hiding the Notes with real tags. The dash leading the tag name should generally place the untagged
tag at the top of the list. Let me know how this works out!
wow, that was quick, thanks
Much cleaner right now, thanks!
I can see the utility of having them available in Tags view. Having them neatly stashed in a folder really improves the UI for collections that have a mix of tagged and untagged notes ( some of which will never need a tag ). This is a nice solution.
