This is a beta providing a couple of new features.
First is the ability to clone an existing collection. The clone operation can be found beneath the File menu. The user selects a starting project or collection, then selects/creates an output folder that is to hold the results of the clone. The clone will contain the DNA (so to speak) of the original collection, but without any of its data.
A clone can then be placed in a folder named Starter Packs, within the Notenik iCloud drive folder. Then when the user creates a new collection, that custom Starter Pack will be available as a new starting point for the new Collection.
Of course this offers a way for any user to create a Starter Pack and then share it with other Notenik users.
