Updated to allow any character, or short string, to be used to indicate that a note is marked.
For example, in order to implement @ThePrinter’s suggestion to use the Unicode flag character, one could enter the following line into a collection’s template file.
@ThePrinter: Thanks for your excellent suggestion about the Unicode flag symbol, as well as these more recent observations.
I think I’ve found the problem that was sometimes causing the context menu item to appear multiple times. Try out the latest beta and let me know if this fixes the problem for you. Thanks for reporting!
The new context menu item can be used on a range of selected notes, but I check to make sure the clicked row is within the selected range, to make sure there’s no confusion about the user’s intentions. I don’t know of a better way to do this while still allowing the contextual menu item to be used on a range of notes. Hope this makes sense! Thanks for the observation!
Yes, it makes perfect sense and covers a use case that I didn’t take into consideration (and wouldn’t want to do without). Loading the latest beta now. Happy to help.
I can see the unicode flag appearing / disappearing beside notes as I hoist/hide them. Aside from that, is there any other automatic behaviour that I should expect?
