I’ve moved some of the Notenik settings to a new tab named “Other”. These are ones that I generally think will be used less often. This makes the overall Notenik Settings window smaller, and makes the General tab less crowded.
I’ve added a new setting, on the General Tab, to control the Reload Prompts introduced in the prior beta. There are three options: Manual Reloads Only, Prompt to Reload, and Reload w/o Prompt. Hopefully this addresses the issue raised in the feedback received on the last beta.
Looking forward to additional feedback on all of this!
I’ve changed my settings to reload w/o prompt - and I love it. In my usage, most of the collection specific fields are entered at the outset or at closing. After that, most of the work and editing is done in the body and having a markdown aware editor makes that work easier than doing it within Notenik. Having Notenik automatically loads the changes reduces the friction.
Just as feedback, this is how I would group the items on General and Other tabs in Settings.
