Thanks for sharing this beta update. It is good to see quoted string values in YAML frontmatter being worked on. I will try this version and see how it behaves with my notes. Have you also checked how it handles special characters and multiline values?

I would say that the YAML parser in Notenik is not perfect, but is generally good enough. I work on issues as I’m notified of them. Let me know if you find some practical issues with your notes. Thanks!
