I have a number of collections where the notes are stashed in a folder called “notes” as described in Section 8.5 of the Knowledge Base of some parent folder say “Parent”. I don’t use these for creating websites, but simply because I liked the structure of saving notes in a folder named “notes” and possibly storing other files in other sub-folders of “Parent”. These other files can be linked easily using drag and drop. In 15.5 and the subsequent betas, once any such collection where the notes are stored in a “notes” sub-folder is opened, Notenik creates a file called “- INFO.nnk” in the parent folder “Parent”. Then, if one tries to open “Parent” using Notenik, it treats the folder “Parent” as an empty collection and opens it. It still does open the notes subfolder correctly if one deletes the “- INFO.nnk” file but it would be convenient to not have to delete this file each time.
Thanks for reporting this! Let me look into it.
See if the latest beta fixes things. Would be good to have some others test as well, to make sure all of the possible folder variations are working as advertised!
It does seem to fix things. Thank you!
