Notenik has two special metadata fields — Seq and Level — that can easily be used to structure a collection of notes into an outline.

Also Herb, if I may suggest, you may want to prefix the =$title$= of each Adventure in the Adventure template so that users can distinguish which pages they have open on their browser (for example, when multiple tabs are open).
