Quick copy of a Wikilink to current/selected note

When selecting / browsing a note, I’d like to use “quick copy” function (like cmd-option-c) to get the Wikilink (or maybe otherwise defined, as when using ctrl+s).

As I use Notenik primarily as a Zettelkasten, this would allow for a streamlined forward-thinking workflow where I’m browsing a Zettel/note, thinking “well, I’d love to link that”, go to the target Zettel/note, and paste it there, skipping the retroactive invocation of ctr+s on that note.

Thanks for your consideration

Sounds like a nifty idea. Let me see what I can do.

Happy to hear that—thanks!

See the latest beta for an attempt to address this. Note that I provided this via an addition to the existing Share with Options window, rather than adding a new dedicated function. I’m a bit sensitive to overloading the CMD-C shortcut for some variation on copying, since the various options here can so quickly get used up. I’m eager to hear how this might work for you! Hopefully it will address the issue!

It’s “okay-ish”. It’s still faster than going to the intended or new note and invoking ctrl+s, and I think I probably just need to get used to pressing opt+cmd+s and then hitting enter. Just some muscle memory! So—appreciated, will follow that workflow then
