Currently exported epubs have 3 levels in ToC. My suggestion is to have an option to control this level. I started to export my collections to epub and use the book across my all devices to read. I’d like to have deeper ToC so that navigation in the book would be more practical. Thank you
Let me look into this. Thanks for the suggestion!
what i seek is similar to the outline view, preferably without the Seq numbers.
A side question for the outlines in Notenik: If one does not want to include Seq number prefixes in the outline , note type should be title-page. So, is there any special type that also omits those numbers in the title of the note?
Check out the latest beta and let me know how this works for you!
I’m not sure what you mean by saying “omits those numbers in the title of the note.” The seq number, strictly speaking, is never included in the Title of a note. On the other hand, Notenik sometimes displays the Seq field in conjunction with the Title field. But its appearance with the Title is dependent on a number of factors. So I guess I’ll need some additional specifics to understand what you are looking for.
Sorry I wasn’t clear enough. I meant:
- if class is set to
title-page
, outline tab doesn’t involve theSeq
value as a prefix. - if class is set to
none
, outline tab involves theSeq
value as a prefix:Seq - Title
For a cleaner outline I do not prefer prefixes, so I need to set class to title-page
for every note I have in my collection. However, these notes are not actual title-pages, therefore I wonder if there is any way to remove the Seq
prefix from the outline, with class
attribute other then the title-page
? Or maybe an option to completely remove the Seq
prefix from the outline without the need for the class
attribute?
I know I can use CMD+2 to sort per Seq + Title
in the list tab, but the list view does not allow collapsing. As I have a lot of notes that approach is not ideal for me.
Thanks.
Yes, it works perfectly. As always I am grateful for your efforts. Thank you @hbowie !
That’s very clear. Thanks for the additional detail. Let me see what I can do.
Check out the latest beta for a new option to show notes on the Outline tab without any seq fields.
Outline No Seq
is working as expected. Thank you!
