In which I announce a couple of recent improvements that should make it easier for new users to create their own websites with Notenik.
Hey Herb! What do you think of this use case for Webmaking with Notenik?
I’ve been exploring how to create a personal reference manual for my photography education. And frankly - making easily navigable documentation on a Mac has been more obtuse than expected. All I want to do is make a two-pane thingy - concepts on the left, content on the right. And I don’t know HTML or CSS (yet). I’m just a basic computer user.
But would Notenik facilitate this type of project, in your opinion?
I’d likely just organize it like this
- Table of Contents
- The Camera
- Basics
- Composition
- Sharing
And 2.1 would be ISO, 2.2 would be Focal Length, and 2.3 would be Aperture, etc.
I’ve never made a website before and have found the learning to be kinda tedious, but I’m at least aware of things like HTML, CSS, and Ruby/Jekyll - but not aware enough how to use them haha.
Thanks for any thoughts!
Yes, I think Notenik would be very appropriate for this sort of use case.
Thanks! If my project is any good I’ll share with the broader group
