I’m curious about this. I can’t see any mention in the Knowledge base. I’m guessing it gets special treatment when note contents are formatted?
The idea is for the Script field to contain a script for the presenter. The ideal would be to have this visible to the presenter, but not to the audience. Note that it’s not a special field type, but just another Longtext field that can contain Markdown. But it’s really just sort of a placeholder at this point. It could be formatted using a Merge Template but right now it doesn’t show up in Presentation mode, or in the export option.
I see: it’s the presenter’s notes.
I was blinkered by the idea of computer code.

I wanted to avoid calling it any kind of notes, to avoid possible confusion. iA Presenter refers to such things as a “script,” so I thought I would try that. But there’s nothing magic about the name: you could remove it, or rename it to anything you like.
No need for change in the code. Just needed a reminder that Notenik interfaces with arts and literature.
