The issue seems to persist at least in some cases, the outlining editing features associated with the first sequence field value seem to work, but not consistently with the other sequence values.
To elaborate, I created a set of notes: with sequence field values: 9, 9.1,9.2, 9.3 and 10, 10.1,10.2, 10.3. The note with the sequence values 9.2 and 10.2 are the same note and have the sequence field values: 10.2 ; 9.2. I find that incrementing the note 10.1 works as expected, and modifying the sequence of the set of notes 10.1 to 10.3 in the outline also works.
Incrementing the note 9.2 also works. It changes the sequence value of that note to 10.2; 9.3 and also changes 9.3 to 9.4
However incrementing the note 9.1, only increments the sequence of the note 9.1 to 9.2 and leaves the other two notes 9.2 and 9.3 untouched. Similarly, selecting the notes 9.1 to 9.3 and modifying the sequence of the notes 9.1 to 9.3 to 9.2 → 9.4 changes the 9.1 note to 9.2 and the 9.3 note to 9.4 correctly, but changes the sequence field of the 9.2 note from 10.2 ; 9.2 to 9.3 ; 9.2. Similarly selecting the notes 9.2 to 9.3 and applying the “Modify seq” command produces an error.
Thanks for the detailed feedback. Let me look into it further.
Check out the new beta.
And thanks for your patience here! The additional test info you provided was really helpful. It helped me realize I had taken a couple of wrong turns during the coding, so I was able to back up and straighten things out (I think!).
I’ve done some more testing, and it seems to be working well for me.
Let me know how this new version works for you (and anyone else who might be interested).
Seems to work very well for me so far. Thanks!
