This beta has one new feature: when using the Text Edit Note or Text Edit Collection’s Template file commands, Notenik will set an internal flag in order to “remember” that you left Notenik for one of these purposes, and then, when you next return to Notenik, it will prompt you to see if you want to perform the appropriate reload, of the Note or the entire Collection.
It’s important to understand what Notenik is not doing here: in particular, it is not checking the file to see if it’s been updated outside of Notenik.
Still, this seems helpful to me, and I’m curious to see what others think.
