Notenik 14.1.3 Available for Beta Testing on March 26th, 2024

This beta adds the ability to store relative paths for File Links, when the file being linked to is within the same Collection. This addresses this feature request, which was extracted from this comment from @rkp135. Testing and validation would be appreciated!

This beta version is no longer available. Look for a later beta release or the most recent Mac App Store release.

Thanks for incorporating this feature! I will get back to you soon with feedback.

Links to files in subfolders (but not in the top level Collection folder itself) of the Collection work in my somewhat limited testing now as described. They become relative links when dragged to the Notenik window and open properly.

Updated post:
Relative links seem to work well, even to files in say, the parent folder (after access has been granted) using the “./…/filename” format!

Dragging files create relative links for files in subfolders of the Collection.

See the new beta just posted for a fix so that Notenik will create relative links to files stored at the top level within the Collection folder.

Thanks for all your testing in this area, @rkp135!
